Cookies and similar technologies
In short: our public pages don’t use cookies, browser storage, analytics, advertising pixels, or embedded content from other companies. That’s why there’s no cookie banner. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie on our private staff dashboard, which isn’t part of the public site.
What we checked
Before publishing, we tested the public pages in a browser to confirm that they:
- set no cookies
- store nothing in your browser’s local or session storage
- load no analytics, advertising, or social media tracking code
- embed no content from other companies (fonts, images, and the video are served from our own website)
What the website does load
| What | Why | Stored in your browser? |
|---|---|---|
| Pages, fonts, and images from getnexus.info | To display the website | Only your browser’s normal cache |
| Our 16-second video | Downloads only when you press play | Only your browser’s normal cache |
| Form submission to our own server | Sends your answers when you press send | No |
| Support button (“Questions?”) | Sends your message to our own server when you press send, which emails it to us | No |
Staff dashboard
Nexus reviews applications in a private, password-protected dashboard on this website. Its sign-in page sets one strictly necessary cookie that protects the sign-in form and keeps staff signed in. It isn’t used for anything else, expires when the browser is closed, and the signed-in session ends when staff sign out. The dashboard isn’t linked from the public site, so visitors don’t receive this cookie.
Server logs are different from tracking
Our hosting provider (IONOS) keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and time of request, to run and secure its service. These logs are kept on its servers, not in your browser, and we don’t use them for advertising. See our Privacy Policy.
Other websites
If you follow a link to another website, such as Instagram or TikTok, that website may use its own cookies under its own policies.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or other optional technologies, we’ll update this page first. Where the law requires it, optional tracking will stay off until you agree, and you’ll be able to change your choice at any time.
